Europe Summer 2018 Interest Meeting 9/26 6pm in the Media Center + Apparel II Peanut Butter Due 8/29 This Class has an optional $10.00 cash donation that will help to offset the cost of supplies for this course. I try and provide all of the supplies for each project except for pajama pants (Apparel I) and the final construction piece for Apparel II. If you are in a place where you can provide this, your help would be GREATLY appreciated! |
Class Information
Apparel and Textiles I : A semester long course for all high school students who would like to understand the basics of textiles, design, clothing construction, and all things related to the fashion industry.
Apparel and Textiles II: A course offered for high school students (with Apparel I being a pre-requisite) that focuses on a deeper understanding of design principles, engineering, fabrication and global needs of an ever-changing Apparel and Textile industry. Students will create and run a school wide apparel business called the Bengal Boutique.
Apparel and Textiles II (Honors): This class is combined with the regular ATII class and not only participates in their activities but they design a clothing line and portfolio that is presented at a gallery walk at the end of the semester.
Advanced Placement: This is an independent class that allows students to complete advanced projects and combine possible internship opportunities.
